Talk about your piercings or tattoos, if you have any.
Till now I have one tattoo, a dragon on my left overarm. I got this the day after my troop was done with their one year military service. I had left the military one month earlier, because of my injury and because I was starting school. Though I did not have a full year, I felt that I had managed to stay strong even with my leg causing me a great deal of pain, and that I had a good will to keep doing what I wanted to. The dragon symbolices strength. The dragon is also a symbol of another thing, my father. He might not understand this, I am pretty sure he doesn’t, but the dragon symbol reminds me of him, as the first thing he gave to me after he and my mother divorced was a necklace with a shield with a dragon symbol on it. This is by far my favorite piece of jewelry, and I have collected quite a lot of them over the years. It’s a sort of reminder that even though my father has a new family and I don’t get to see him as much as I want to, he still loves me and he is my father, no matter what.
